For my keepsake magazine design project, I created a fully realized publication by designing all layouts and curating found articles and imagery to bring my vision to life. The magazine is centered around storytelling and connection, beginning with a section focused on personal narratives, family roots, and home traditions that ground each story in a sense of identity. It then transitions into craftsmanship, highlighting handmade goods, slow and skillful creation, and the importance of preserving traditional techniques. The third section explores food and celebration, emphasizing how cooking connects generations through shared recipes and meaningful moments. The final section looks at the relationship between memory and place, featuring heritage sites and small communities where traditions are preserved, tying together the overall theme of connection across time, people, and culture.
